Sci-Tech is a hands-on science museum, where visitors push buttons, turn knobs, lift levers, peer into microscopes, creater laser patterns, test their senses and much more. Exhibits are appropriate for all ages, with a young children’s room for the very young. Sci-Tech also offers periodic outdoor astronomy workshops, and childrens science workshops.

Exhibits

With more than 40 interactive exhibits designed to spark the interest and imagination of visitors are offered in our 3,600 ft. facility, the museum operates as the only hands-on science museum in Northern New York.

Along with two floors of regular exhibits, special exhibits will include Millions-the Science of Big Numbers; Microscopic Pond Life; and Polarized Light.

Location

Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis. Smithsonian magazine encourages museum visitation, but is not responsible for and does not endorse the content of the participating museums and cultural venues, and does not subsidize museums that participate.
