The Rockwood Museum is open year round offering tours Wednesday - Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sundays, 12:00 p.m. to 4 p.m. Tours are conducted on the hour. Self-Guided Historic Garden Maps are available at the museum. Guided garden tours are available by reservation.
Rockwood's 72-acre park includes over 2 miles of paved trails winding through woods and along streams connecting to the Northern Delaware Greenway. The Park and Gardens are open daily from dawn to dusk.
Special events throughout the year include Delaware Shakespeare Festival, Faerie Fest (Sunday, 9/15), and our Holiday Open House (12/6 and 12/7, 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.). Rockwood will also host a Craft Fair at the museum on Saturday, October 5 with over 75 vendors participating. In addition, Rockwood offers a beautiful setting for your wedding, meeting or special event through the Carriage House at Rockwood Park.

Historical facts, pictures, displays featuring information regarding the Shipley and Bringhurst families who resided at Rockwood. Rockwood Museum also offers a charming Gift Shop for visitors to browse and purchase items related to Rockwood.
