The Robeson Planetarium and Science Center serves the public schools of Robeson County with curriculum-aligned content designed to inspire the next generation of students. We have a 20' Inflatable dome, within a science center that used to be an elementary school's cafeteria. We hold a maximum of 20 people, masked and socially distant, for in-person programs.

Exhibits

1/10 scale model of the Opportunity rover on Mars. Several interactive touch tables, and rock/mineral specimens from NC and the USA.

Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis. Smithsonian magazine encourages museum visitation, but is not responsible for and does not endorse the content of the participating museums and cultural venues, and does not subsidize museums that participate.
