River Legacy Living Science Center is a 12,000 square-foot Nature Center adjacent to a 1,300-acre woodland park in Arlington, TX. The Nature Center features terrariums and aquariums with live native animals, interactive, engaging exhibits in our Discovery Room, nature trails, self-exploration stations and a gift shop. The Center also serves as an environmental educational hub providing nature programs, classes, workshops, events and festivals for all ages.

Exhibits

Join River Legacy Living Science Center as we celebrate our annual W.A.T.E.R. (Water Awareness through Education & Recreation) Festival from 10 AM - 2 PM. Celebrate the wonderful resource of water with a variety of family-friendly activities, crafts, games & demonstrations at this FREE water science fair! River Legacy Living Science Center also houses aquariums and terrariums featuring native wildlife; self-exploration stations; interactive exhibits; nature trails, pond overlook, and a gift shop. Smithsonian Museum Day ticket not required to attend. Before and dfter the festival, admission to the Discovery Room will be free when you show your Smithsonian Museum Day ticket for River Legacy, however some exhibit components may be limited.

Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis. Smithsonian magazine encourages museum visitation, but is not responsible for and does not endorse the content of the participating museums and cultural venues, and does not subsidize museums that participate.
