Millicent Rogers Museum

The Millicent Rogers Museum is a cultural institution focusing on the artistic traditions and heritage of the American Southwest with a particular emphasis on the Native American and Hispanic history of northern New Mexico.
In addition to the museum’s permanent collection of historic and contemporary Native American and Hispanic art, there will be special exhibits on Millicent Rogers' role as a fashion muse, icon, and designer, historic and contemporary carved Santos, the significance of owls in the Southwest, and the importance of horses to local Native American and Hispanic cultures.
Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis. Smithsonian magazine encourages museum visitation, but is not responsible for and does not endorse the content of the participating museums and cultural venues, and does not subsidize museums that participate.
