Original Gone With the Wind artifacts relating to author Margaret Mitchell and the film. Visitors will enjoy our tour focusing on author Margaret Mitchell’s relationship with Atlanta’s Morehouse College and other philanthropic endeavors. All ages will appreciate the vast history behind this privately-owned collection and the visual pleasure of film related artifacts. Special events with original cast members, famous authors and celebrities. Located in historic Brumby Hall, a pre-Civil War house built in 1851, and surrounded by gardens and giant magnolia trees.

Coming soon is the "Home to Tara" Museum featuring elements from the movie façade.


Library of foreign editions of the famous book including a copy from Iran. The original bengaline honeymoon gown worn by Vivien Leigh in the film, conceptual art and items belonging to cast members. Display devoted to African-American actors from the movie and their struggles in a white Hollywood.

Guided tours available by reservation at no additional charge.
