Delaware’s Oldest Natural History Complex!

Your Museum Day ticket is valid for admission at The Iron Hill Museum and The Iron Hill Science Center

At the Iron Hill Museum & Science Center the visitor gets to experience the natural world that’s all around them. Our permanent museum exhibits include comprehensive displays of local flora and fauna, rock and mineral specimens from the local region as well as from around the world (including our popular fluorescent mineral display), fossil specimens found in the region, artifacts from local prehistoric cultures, and historical representation of the rich industry once found at Iron Hill. After visiting the Science Center first, don’t forget to peek into the Museum, and don’t forget to visit our Iron Hill Trail where you can see an Iron Mine!

We have a small space, so our exhibits are year-round permanent collections on display. They are natural history based, that includes but not limited to the Iron Hill/state of Delaware area.
