Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum

Housed in the original Allan Herschell Company factory building, the museum presents exhibits, demonstrations, special events and Children’s Gallery activities to celebrate the history of carrousel and amusement ride manufacture in North Tonawanda.
Exhibits
Exhibits include 24 hand carved carrousel animals, the company carving shop, the Wurlitzer band organ roll making equipment and an outdoor exhibit of 4 restored kiddie rides.
Visitors may ride our 1916 hand carved carousel and listen to the sounds of a vintage band organ.
Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis.
