The Guntersville Museum is located in an historic rock armory and features the history and culture of the area. Visitors can explore everything from Native American artifacts to interesting local personalities.

Exhibits

The Guntersville Museum's permanent exhibits tell the story of our area through Native American and early town artifacts, as well as nostalgic items and photographs. An art gallery, gem and mineral room, Tennessee River floor mural, and impressive bird collection are also featured.

Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis. Smithsonian magazine encourages museum visitation, but is not responsible for and does not endorse the content of the participating museums and cultural venues, and does not subsidize museums that participate.
