North Dakota's Gateway to Science is a hands-on science center located in Bismarck ND. Our mission is to inspire the discovery of science through hands-on experiences. For more than 25 years, Gateway to Science has been igniting a passion for STEM in students of all ages through our interactive exhibit gallery, year-round programming, and outreach across the state. Our programs, including STEM Adventure Club, summer camps, Preschool Discovery Hour, and Girls Who Code, spark students’ interests and connect their passions with STEM education and career opportunities in North Dakota.

Exhibits

The Gateway to Science interactive exhibit gallery will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis. Smithsonian magazine encourages museum visitation, but is not responsible for and does not endorse the content of the participating museums and cultural venues, and does not subsidize museums that participate.
