Furnace Town Historic Site
3816 Old Furnace Road, Snow Hill, MD 21863 - United States
Furnace Town Historic Site is a recreated 19th-century iron mining village and the site Nassawango Iron Furnace. The village is a selection of historic buildings from around the lower Eastern shore of Maryland brought here to be preserved. With our collection of historic nineteenth-century buildings and artisans' studios surrounding the Nassawango Iron Furnace, we are a learning center for the study of history, art, and nature. In addition, we share the lore and legacy of life in the Pocomoke Forest.
