Dunedin History Museum
349 Main Street, Dunedin, FL 34698 - United States
The Dunedin History Museum showcases the highlights of this coastal destination’s citrus industry past, nautical accomplishments, railroad and tourism history and Scottish heritage, along with temporary displays in the Special Exhibitions Gallery.
In addition to completely renovated galleries featuring brand new, state-of-the-art permanent historical displays about Dunedin, the Museum hosts “Aloha Americana” in its Special Exhibitions Gallery, a look at the uniquely American fascination with Polynesian culture during the mid-20th Century.
Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis. Smithsonian magazine encourages museum visitation, but is not responsible for and does not endorse the content of the participating museums and cultural venues, and does not subsidize museums that participate.
