Smithsonian Affiliate Museum

Cincinnati Museum Center is a multi-museum complex located in historic Union Terminal, a 1933 Art Deco train station. The museum features the interactive Children's Museum where you can learn through play; the Museum of Natural History & Science that includes a replica limestone cave, Dinosaur Hall, Ice Age Gallery and Neil Armstrong Space Exploration Gallery; the Cincinnati History Museum that includes a sprawling reproduction of early 20th century Cincinnati, a recreation of an 1850s riverfront street, the history industry, innovation, transportation and more; and a five-story domed OMNIMAX theater.

Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis. Smithsonian magazine encourages museum visitation, but is not responsible for and does not endorse the content of the participating museums and cultural venues, and does not subsidize museums that participate.
