Located in Indiana's first Carnegie Library, the Carnegie Museum of Montgomery County is an interdisciplinary museum of history, science, art and culture. All ages are welcome and the museum is wheelchair and stroller accessible.

Exhibits

Visitors to the museum will find a mix of history, science and art exhibits across seven galleries, including a Hall of Fame Gallery, Military exhibits, a Business and Industry gallery and more.

Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis. Smithsonian magazine encourages museum visitation, but is not responsible for and does not endorse the content of the participating museums and cultural venues, and does not subsidize museums that participate.
