We are a Smithsonian-affiliated aerospace museum with historic WWII aircraft. Inside, we have STEM stations and Space related exhibits.
Exhibits
We will have all our aircraft exhibits on display including the newly remodeled A-4 Skyhawk. Depending on volunteers, visitors will have the opportunity to go inside select cockpits. Inside, we have a NASA exhibit and artifacts from the Tuskeegee Airmen and many other notable aviators including Col. Bud Anderson. Our museum also offers a Flight Zone where visitors can have a chance to fly a simulated aircraft.
Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis. Smithsonian magazine encourages museum visitation, but is not responsible for and does not endorse the content of the participating museums and cultural venues, and does not subsidize museums that participate.
