Matthew Williams

Matthew Williams is a science educator and former intern at the Smithsonian Science Education Center, where he helped create content covering a wide array of scientific topics. He studied anthropology and evolution at the University of Notre Dame, and has previously taught high school biology in Ghana and studied sexual selection in the Galapagos archipelago. He’s passionate about sharing science in a way that excites the curiosity of all students; especially future non-scientists and those with additional faith-based views of life. He believes that a widespread sense of scientific wonder will result in a happier and healthier planet; leading to a safer and more meaningful existence for all that share it.
