It brings joy to my life just contemplating the goal these two have set for themselves. So many things are going on here. First, there is the creative, artistic part of making something appealing and interesting out of what's lying about. Then, they have gone to the trouble to find names and make a gift. And it is a surprise for each recipient. A mysterious pleasure. I hope the story's appearance here won't take too much away from their secret task. This reminds me a bit of a story I read about a couple in NYC who have, for years, been receiving mysterious postcards with whimsical messages and puns. They have no idea who the sender is. All this goes to show that nothing beats a real letter delivered by the mailman!
