Having heard of the museum I laughed amazed but after seeing some videos about it I realised what great part the potato plays in our lives.I hope it still has an undiscovered potential like biofuel or something. Think of the potato flour as well. I wonder if this is in the museum too.

Expand your research and surprise yourself exploring the socio-economic impact of the arrival of the potato in India and the Hiamalayas!!!

I am available to discuss this issue, I did some initial research while living in Nepal and Bhutan

One of my favorite places to eat is the KartoffelKellar in Germany. The original one was established in Potsdam, in the 18th century potato cellars of Frederick the Great. On the menu one could find over 100 different dishes featuring potatoes. This one closed, but there is one in Berlin and there may be others. Check it out!

My husband would love to see this video but I see no closed captioning or subtitling option. He is deaf.

A very interesting video! I was especially interested to know that planting potatoes permitted humans to live in harsh climates year round. They'll grow anywhere, apparently.

While this is interesting, I was hoping for how potatoes are used ie. vodka. How did it become a staple in so many countries? How did we get all the many different kind of potatoes, white, red, blue.

Fascinating. As someone with ancestors who arrived in the U. S. from Ireland during the wave of "potato famines," I've always appreciated the importance of the potato.

This is a wonderful video. I plan to go to see this exhibition. I know how healthy and delicious are potatoes and I agree that is the most important food that we can enjoy.

Your work is like a "tribute" to this wonderful food. Thank you so much.
