Most history buffs instinctively know the value of geography in the progress of everything from exploration, food production, manufacturing, transportation, defense, and even politics and religion. But quantifying such value adds a whole new dimension for those of us whose appreciation of history exceeds the relative boredom of our formal education history classes. A BIG thank you!
