Postal Museum
This picturesque museum features a complete collection of stamps from the Netherlands Antilles and other countries, as well as related artifacts such as old post boxes and scales.
Curaçao Museum
Located in a historic building from 1853, the museum has furniture, paintings, antique maps and Antillean and Indian art from Curaçao. You can also see part of the "Snip," the first plane that flew from Holland to Curaçao.
Tele Museum
This museum is housed in a beautifully renovated building in the heart of Willemstad’s Pnda district. It showcases the permanent exhibition of the history of telecommunication on Curaçao.
Maritime Museum
Showcasing "Treasures of the Deep," an exhibit about underwater archaeology and shipwrecks near the ABC islands.
Museum Kura Hulanda
The Museum Kura Hulanda holds a permanent exhibition of the slave trade. The museum also hosts various temporary exhibitions. Other interesting exhibitions are those of Anne Frank and the Curaçao African roots.
The Octagon
The Octagon showcases a permanent exhibition dedicated to the life and accomplishments of the famous South American Liberator Simon Bolivar.
The Jewish Historical Cultural Museum
This museum is part of the Mikvé Israel-Emanuel Synagogue, the oldest in continuous operation in the western Hemisphere. The museum occupies two buildings, which date back to 1728. In 1969 a Jewish Cultural Museum was established adjacent to the synagogue. There is a display of many interesting and unusual objects illustrating the culture and history of the Jewish community. Many of these objects are still in use in the synagogue today.
Numismatic Museum
Owned and operated by the Central Bank of the Netherlands Antilles, this museum houses an impressive collection of coins that circulated in the Netherlands Antilles, as well as a rotating exhibition of coins and bank notes from other countries. The museum is located in the heart of Otrobanda at the Jacob Geltdekker Institute.
