From Fairfax, Virginia, Elena has been making the trip to see the blossoms since she was a kid, but this year she came in an outfit inspired by Japanese street culture, complete with gold glitter nail polish.

Love this perspective. I visited the cherry trees with my mother as a child & they are one of my favorite memories. If you have the chance to visit DC you should try to visit during the cherry blossom blooms. Magnificent! Thank you for posting yearly photos.
