In the Piazza Colonna, a huge second-century column features reliefs depicting the victories of Emperor Marcus Aurelius over the barbarians . When Aurelius died in A.D. 180, the tables began to turn, commencing Rome's three-century decline and fall.

Its beauitful! I love learning about different cultures, espically in Europes!

The other fountain that is really fantastic to see at night is the Trevi Fountain. There is information about that area at http://www.best-of-rome-italy.com/trevi-fountain-rome.html
This is a fun area to walk around at night with little squares, winding streets and outdoor cafes.
