What A Pilot Sees in a Week of Flying

A beautiful time-lapse takes you across Europe

smithsonian.com

On Reddit, by way of PetaPixel, commercial airline pilot Jakub Vlk shows us what it feels like to fly for a living with his time-lapse video of his “past seven days of work.”

The video shows Vlk’s travels around Europe, buzzing between the Czech Republic, Italy, France. Though the view out of the passenger window of an airplane is thrilling (or terrifying enough) for most, the front-row perspective really does provide a more true sensation of flying.
