Flickr user Roadsidepictures offers 1,713 images of vintage product packaging spanning most of the 20th century. “These are some of the items I’ve collected through the years,” the nostalgic packrat describes of his “Museum of American Packaging Album.” Roadsidepictures explains the motivation behind his expansive collection:

I’ve enjoyed the hobby of photography since I was a kid. I like photographing old neon signs, cars, motels, gas stations, roadside attractions and suburban life. I’m very old fashioned. I should have been born in 1936.

Neatorama observes: “Looking through these will surprise you (with items before your time) and bring back memories (with items you recall vividly). Surely I’m not the only one who remembers back when Tang came in metal cans!”
