Horses Can Do Yoga

“The method is to tame the horse according to its nature , avoiding cause fear and pain, and by earning their trust and loyalty”

Plenty of yoga poses are named after animals: people contort themselves into a menagerie of dogs, cobras, camels, pigeons, crows and eagles. And lots of animals seem to enjoy yoga—or are at least perplexed by it. But this horse might be the strangest animal yogi around.

The horse’s yoga master is named Manpreet Sidhu, and he works with The Doma India School, where they use yoga to heal horses. “The method is to tame the horse according to its nature, avoiding cause fear and pain, and by earning their trust and loyalty,” their website says

In the video, you see a man laying a horse down, rolling it onto its back, and helping it get into a variety of yoga like poses. Then the man does a hand stand on the horse. Whether or not this is actually good for the horse is unclear.
