Under the Bridge

A mother and children stroll beneath the curved arch supports of the Woodrow Wilson Bridge on the Alexandria, Virginia, USA side of the Potomac River. For some reason, the immensity of the structure seemed to intensify the feeling of human bonding with this nuclear family perhaps because of the scale.
