The Windmills at Zaanse Schans

The story is told that the Windmills of Holland formed the basis of the first organised industry in Europe if not the world. Built to grind all the spices as well as other material shipped over to Holland by Dutch navy and merchants. Some still intact and working these now provide a historic topic as well as a picturesque tale.
