Tetin over the Beroun

Tetin is an ancient village, cited s the origin of the Přemyslid dynasty through many legends of Prague and Libuse. The history of Czech Republic is divided by internal religious warfare between Catholic and Hussite and can be traced through myth to this site in the origins and domination of Christianity over native beliefs. Wenceslaus, Duke of Bohemia (ca 921 ) was raised by his grandmorther Ludmilla in the castle of Tetin. His mother Drahomira was pagan and daught of the Havolans tribal chief, thus splitting the history of Bohemia and Czech republic forever into religious wars.
