Qatari Fort

A group of friends and I woke had woken up at 3 am to drive to the northern tip of Qatar to see the sunrise over the gulf. After we saw a spectacular sunrise, we continued our day trip to Al Zubarah, a World Heritage site. The fort there was perfectly photogenic and with the faded flag on the wall, I couldn't help but think this was great embodiment of the old Qatar.
