How the ocean makes us feel.

Since five months of age, our daughter has backpacked with us learning the tenets of Leave No Trace. This particular trip is an eight mile bike and hike through the Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge and then into False Cape State Park of Virginia. Once we finally get to camp and little feet trek gently through the dunes, we reach the mighty Atlantic. Then it is a mad dash to the ocean and celebrations all around. The beach is deserted and the ocean just makes us all DANCE. To foster this love of nature is critical to ensuring they will care for our earth long after we are gone. Just so happens that it also is fabulous fun.
