Angkor Wat in Cambodia is a haunting yet imposing edifice of a gloried past. As a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the magnificent archeological ruins from the Khmer Empire are carefully monitored and curated to ensure their preservation. Additionally, local products such as baskets and wood carvings are sold to tourists in an effort to further promote sustainability.
