A Photographer Contemplates Great Sand Dunes National Park

My husband and I were hiking up the dunes in Great Sand Dunes National Park so that he could photograph the dunes at sunset. This strenuous hike required lots of pauses, and Stephen stopped briefly to decide which way to go. It can be difficult to navigate in the dunes and it is easy to lose your bearings.
