This shot is part of an on going series I'm working on involving pollution to raise environmental awareness. A sustainable travel project would do better to not involve vehicles such as this one at all. A closed loop, sustainable, and automated travel system that does not run on fossil fuels should be the future of the human race. The freedom of driving is such a small blip on the human species timeline that we should be willing to sacrifice our free will to drive for the preservation of the greater good. It'd be difficult to fully be rid of human error if we're trying to create a picturesque travel system, but leaving it in the hands of mathematics, statistics, and technology rather than human emotion, would do wonders for future generations. We have the means to reinvent our obsolete infrastructure and with population increasing exponentially into the foreseeable future, its important to not rule out an automated sustainable travel system. More importantly, we shouldn't stop to think of such systems just because it means you'd no longer be able to drive a car. If history has taught us anything, no amount of greatness came from little to no sacrifice.
