Why here. Why now.

I notice many older Eastern European women walking around at night. In many cultures this is taboo. I never see women past their late 60s walking around late in the night by themselves. I got me wondering where are the coming from this late and do they not have someone to take care of them? They always have on red scarfs. Strange.
