Traditional Japanese dance troup during the Cherry Blossom Festival

I photographed these elegant dancers from the Shizumi dance troupe at the Building Museum during the Cherry Blossom Festival. Their dances infused intense beauty, grace, tradition, and even humor and was a lovely addition to the festival. This photo captures their grace and the fascinating, colorful, flowery costumes they wore. The dances incorporated several props, including these gorgeous umbrellas they posed with.
