The Silent Hero

Seing Oscar Ortiz saving a whale entangled in a net is a truly humbling experience. Along with a team of volunteers, he has, over the years, rescued 15 whales entangled in fishing nets. In his everyday life as a Whale watching tour company owner, he has developed a deep love for these animals. I wanted to capture the humble look on his face, meer seconds after the successfull rescue.
