Rosa Maria Chiliquinga (53) and her granddaughter Rosa Angelica Masaquisa (8)

Rosa Maria Chiliquinga (53) and her granddaughter Rosa Angelica Masaquisa (8) stand in the cornfield with their sheep. Rosa Maria usually works in the fields and like other local women spins wool to make threads, then weaves cloth for traditional clothes. Rosa Angelica's parents live and work in the Galapagos, so she lives with her two grandmothers. She goes to Katitawa school and sometimes helps her grandmother to spin wool.
