One Child Policy

I was walking down the street in Guilin, China and saw this beautiful child and her mother. It struck me because so many girls (like my daughter) are abandoned in China due to the One Child Policy. This mother kept her daughter. Love how they are wearing black and white- in contrast. Both are looking at something, but I don't remember what it was. I was caught by the natural beauty and grace of the image.
