A Brokpa Woman in her Traditional Dress in Dha Village

Renowned as the Land of Aryans, Dha village are settlements of Brokpa community in Ladakh. According to popular belief, the Brokpas were part of the army of Alexander the Great and came to the region over two thousand years ago. The community has a unique sense of dressing.
