Maria's Sunflowers at Sunset

Millions of sunflower seeds were planted along the highway in Avon, Ohio in honor of a seven year old girl named Maria who died of brain cancer. This is the third year for the planting, which has grown incredibly every year and raises money for childhood cancer research. This year over four million seeds were planted.
