After a short hike through slippery snowy and icy terrain I came upon this snowy scene punctuated by moss and a few autumn leaves strewn about.
While on safari at Lake Manyara, Tanzania, in February 2011, we  spotted a young lioness after she presumably had just finished a very big meal.
