Swiftly, but silently a geisha slid down the cedar and paper hallway of a Ryokan on Mt Mitake, Japan. Once numbering 80,000 only 2000 remain today.

Between the Yellow

This species, the nuthatch (Sitta europaea) likes to move from the top of the branches to the bottom, unlike in the actual society, where everyone wants to move to the top. They never stop, not for a minute, constantly moving up and down the branches, searching for insects or seeds in the cracks of the branches. They can sometimes be seen storing the food for the winter, hiding the seed between the wood or beneath rocks.
