Becoming beach

The world turned violently and suddenly with the eruption of the Soufriere Hills Volcano on Montserrat. I watched it on television, the power of nature, at the time seeing only what it destroyed. Recently I had the opportunity to visit and see what the lava flow is creating as it gradually becomes new land, a beach on the edge of a stunning blue ocean.
