Autumn's Mountain Meadow Grass

This is the stems of tall mountain meadow grass in Colorado, unchanged and identical to what I saw in the view finder of the camera. The closer I got to each stem of grass, the more fantastic the colors and the shapes became. Looking at the whole field of grass, an adult might imagine lawnmowers, but the young at heart can get down on their knees and see a miniature and amazingly colorful forest.
