Alevi People

8/11/2014 KAHRAMANMARAS, TURKEY. "We're Kurdish-Alevi And we're proud," said a man in a Kurdish dialect. The old couple is sitting inside it's living room. Like this couple, many Alevis are poor farmers. Behind them is a picture of the 12 Imams, which the Alevi worship. Notice how there's no painting for the the 12th Imam that's why he's been blurred out.
