Wild Horses of Assateague Island Maryland
Wild Horse family shot on the beach at Assateague Island, Maryland. There is a lot of folklore surrounding how these horses came to roam this Island but nobody is entry sure. They are believed to have lived on this Island since the 17th century. These horses roam the lands and beaches of this Island freely. This particular shot was on one of the beaches and features three of these horses with the Atlantic Ocean as the backdrop!
