The Pyramids of Giza
We were heading back to our hotel after a trip to see the Giza Pyramids when I spotted this view from the taxi. The driver obligingly stopped for me to take my shots (3 in all for this picture), that I intended to stitch into a panoramic shot putting the pyramids in the distance to show the infertile surrounding dessert area where monuments tombs and temples were usually built. I am pleased with the end result despite the human debris apparent in the foreground which I left as testimony to the immense gap of ages of the magnificent monuments and me being there.
