The La Sals

Fresh snow had fallen on the La Sals this morning, and I had planned to shoot Double Arch at sunset. I could not compose the arch and peaks together, and I really wanted a picture showing the mountain range. I hiked to the back side of the arch then climbed up a rock outcrop high enough to bring the mountains into view. The sunlight set the red rock on fire, then disappeared just seconds after this capture.
