Supreme Court passes Same-Sex Marriage nationally, two girls find peace in front of White House.

On the night following the U.S. Supreme Court "Obergefell v. Hodges" (5-4) decision, government interns in DC had held "Love Wins" balloons for a little over half an hour at the time of this photo. The combination of relief, love, and peace these two girls felt was all the more powerful when captured in front of the rainbow-illuminated White House on this historic day.
