Waiting for a bus.
Just visited Istanbul, Turkey and finally accomplished one of my dreams: seeing Agia Sophia Mosque (former cathedral built by Constantine). It filled my heart with so much satisfaction.
Just like background noise, the power lines and their "poles" are part of our country.  We see them in cities, suburbs & like here, on rural highways.

Nothing speaks America better than a Bald Eagle.  This one was sitting in a tree beside the Mississippi River.

Elephant exhibit at the Philadelphia Zoo shortly before the exhibit was taken down due to inadequacy.
Walking down the beach in Samara, Costa Rica, I stopped to study this branch and its beauty. Very beautiful piece of natural art.

Biking along fields at the edge of town. Bicycles give us freedom to go many places while not harming the world around us and they have been an important part of our culture for many years

As the sun was setting, I was sitting at the beach in Samara, Costa Rica.  Espectacular sunsets in that part of the world.
